Birthday Celebrations, Book Reports

Birthdays:
Tomorrow afternoon from 2:30ish on we are celebrating C6 birthdays for the months of November and December. Happy Bday to Brock, Mackenzie, Andy, Maddie, Logan, and Jared... Julie is coordinating the birthday efforts for tomorrow so she may be contacting the parents of the above students about tomorrow's party.

Book Reports:
We begin book reports tomorrow and finish them on Thursday. Be sure to check with your 5th grader on their book report progress and presentation. See earlier posts for more info.

Observation:
Some district coaches and teachers will observe our math workshop tomorrow to see our new system in action. I believe the workshop is having a positive effect. The pretests for this week had more passing grades than any other pretests. Way to go C6 math students!

The Book Report,

A couple of weeks ago I assigned a book report. The kids have chosen the books and most of them are almost done reading. The reports are due on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. This report has been pretty open and flexible. I've challenged them to pick a book in a different genre than what they normally read. Most are reading either a classic, a biography, researching a topic, and some are just doing a report on a current book. I want a 3 minute report from each book. Here are some loose guidelines for what to say about your book/topic.  Kids were allowed to work in groups. If you have any questions, please email me.

Introduction:
Hello, my name is __________________ and I want to tell you about the incredible book (topic) I read (about): _____________________________.

This book is ______________________________
                                    (genre)
Explain what type of genre your book is
(contemporary fiction, classic, biography, scientific topic, informational on a historical topic)

Why you chose your book/topic:

When was your book published?

Who wrote your book? (give more information about the author for extra detail)

Why is this book important?

Give a brief 3 minute summary of your book

Creating our own blogs

So today in technology the kids learned how to create their own blogs. They have made their own blogs with a classroom email. They are able and allowed to edit their own blogs from home if they want. There are a few rules.

Safety 1st:
The blogs have been set so that no one can view the blog unless they are signed up with our email and password. No one else can view the blogs through any other means.

1. Don't click on "next blog"
2. Don't edit someone else's blog
3. Keep your blog school appropriate (so don't allow random youtube videos or inappropriate music)

The possibilities are endless. Parents please monitor your child's use of the blog though.
How to sign in:
username: forestridgec6.2@gmail.com
Your children should know the password to get onto their blog by now.

I recommend downloading "Google Chrome". There is a much friendlier way of using blogger than using internet explorer. In fact most of my internet usage is through Chrome not Explorer.

Happy Blogging!

Math Focus, Science, $$$, birthdays

Hello again,

Math Focus: This week we're working on estimating division quotients (answers).

Science:
For the last two weeks before winter break students are developing science investigations that they will test in school. My investigation will be to answer this question: Which ball will bounce higher: basketball, soccer ball, tennis ball, racket ball? The investigation has two parameters: 1) the materials need to be easily available to you  and 2) it has to be doable in the classroom (or outside the classroom). Kids can work in partners and can start bringing in materials tomorrow.

$$$
I still need 5$ for the holiday crafts from each student. Right now I have about $30 brought in so far. Thank you for those who brought them in.

Birthdays:
We never did our November birthday bash. Maybe we could combine Nov and Dec birthdays for a big holiday bash... Thoughts? Please "comment:" or email.

Happy Winter!

Math Workshop

So today we started math workshop and it went well. There are still a few kinks to work out, but I'm excited about what is possible through the workshop. The kids have a new math website to work on at home for homework time. Feel free to check it out at this link: tenmarks
They have their own login name/number. If they remember it tonight they can work on the website.
If not that's okay.

Have a great Tuesday!

Happy Holidays, Conferences, Holiday Crafts $$

Hi C6 Families,

I want to wish you and yours happy holidays! I look forward to conferencing with the parents Monday and Tuesday and further update you on the wonderful progress your children have made this year.

Holiday Crafts:
We are doing some holiday crafts when we come back from Thanksgiving break and the Cpod teachers are asking each of their students for $5 to help cover the cost. It would really help me out if you could bring the $5 to the conference. We are purchasing some of the items over the break and could use the upfront money. Thanks again for all your support this year.

See you next week!
Mr. J

Special Request: Volunteer

The 5th grade teachers need some help with scanning a curriculum book into the copier so that we can access the curriculum. There is only one copy of the curriculum and 3 teachers to share it. If we scan it we will each have our own copy. The scanning may take from 1 to 2 hours of your time... Any volunteers?

Thanks!
Kyle

Alien Invasion

We are doing some TAG screening activities in class the next few days and one in particular will need some materials from home. The activity "Alien" is described in full detail with the link to the left.

In brief, the students have chosen their own groups to make a robot that is 2 feet tall out of recycled materials. They met today in their groups to discuss their robot design. There will be a writing activity and math activity connected with their alien.

SO please help them find some clean (no food on the containers) recycled materials that can be brought to class tomorrow so they may begin construction.

EXTRA! EXTRA! Read all about it! Formula error stifled Oct RAH Minutes

So I noticed a glitch in my RAH spreadsheet today that also affected our October RAH. When I switched my RAH chart from excel to google docs my formula cell that added up the children's minutes each day was only set to add up 24 out of 28 students. SO our new and actual October minutes is 40,938 minutes. I had to apologize for making them feel guilty about not reaching their goal last month, they crushed it!!!

Field Trip Thursday: Volunteers

Around half of the parents volunteered for the Aquarium Field Trip. All may come. There will be an hour lab that only 6 parents may attend for room capacity purposes. More info will come tomorrow including groups etc.

Wow Way to RAH!!!

I'm totally impressed with how we've met our goal each day and even over the long weekend. It makes me wonder what factors have boosted our reading this month. I'd like to credit the book fair for bringing in some great reads that the kids are excited about. I also suspect that our partner reading that we started last week has added some intrinsic (self powered) motivation to read more. The fact is that our class is full of voracious (super hungry) readers! Way to RAH!!!

New Idea on Homework Grades

I talked with a parent today who had a wonderful idea on the homework grades. We looked at the chart and thought we could take the student names off of the spreadsheet and just have the number to the left of the students displayed with no name. This would mean the student and the parent would have to know what their number is (1-28). For now I'll post a document that has just the name and the number separately so that it is a little less obvious whose grades belong to whom. This way we have accountability and a little more anonymity. As always I am open and eager to hear your suggestions on how I can improve my communication to you.

PS. You can become a follower of the blog by typing your email into the box on the bottom right. It says "Follow by email". Then you will be notified anytime the blog is updated. I'd be so impressed if every family was dialed into this blog!

Estuary Wall

To the left you we see we are well into making an estuary mural on our wall. Each of the estuary creatures the kids have been studying will be displayed on the wall.

Homework

I just remembered that I didn't get a chance to explain the homework that was sent home today. ]

The math is something that they haven't seen yet: Order of Operations
Here's how it works
7 x 2 - (3 + 8) =
First you need to do what is in the parenthesis (3+8) = 11
7 x 2 - 11
Then you have to do the multiplication or division 7 x 2 = 14
14 - 11
Then solve the addition or subtraction 14 - 11 = 3

Therefore:   7 x 2 - (3 + 8) = 3

Note: Always do it in this order
Parenthesis
multiplication and division from left to right
addition and subtraction from left to right.

16 / (16 - 4 x 2) solve for 4 x 2
16 / (16 - 8) solve for (16 - 8)
16 / 8 solve the division
16 / 8 = 2

If you or your child has any other questions, please feel free to email me tonight or tomorrow and I can help...or bring in your questions on Monday.

Happy Harvest, Party, Conferences, Field Trip

Happy Halloween,

We are having a wonderful celebration today to celebrate the harvest as well as Kylee and Kaylee, and Mr. J's October birthdays. A few parents have planned some wonderful activities, games and treats and everyone's characters look awesome!

Conferences: To the left you will see the conference schedule already forming. Forms were sent home last week. Students with a * by their name may have to change times based on when their siblings conferences are scheduled with the other teachers. Thanks to those who already have their slips in. I'll update the schedule as more slips come in.

Field trip forms should be turned in by Wednesday so that I can give a lunch count to Food Services.

Have a Happy and Safe Halloween tonight!

Christopher Journaling, Estuary Prezi, Math, RAH

Hello again,

It's been a while since a last posted. Class is still in session and many wonderful projects are afoot.

Christopher Columbus Journals
In writing we have just finished up our movie reviews to work on summary. Now we are working again on writing with detail. We are doing this while imagining what it would be like to sail with Christopher Columbus. Students are writing 10 entries into a historical fiction journal of a 10 year old accompanying Columbus on the journal to the West Indies...

Estuary Prezi
We have been researching information about a specific estuary creature and putting them into prezi. When they are finished the prezis will be published on the blog.

Math
In math we are still building on our multiplication knowledge to prepare us for division. Division will start next week.

RAH
The class has been losing momentum a bit with RAH. We have been just barely meeting or coming under our goal daily. I just wanted to let you know. For next month we might adjust our goal or talk about what we can do to improve our minutes.

That's the scoop for now!
Have a warm afternoon,
Kyle

Jog a Thon, Glazing Pots, and Rockets

I'm afraid today was just an average old day of: JOG A THON, ART, and ROCKETS!

Your kids did an amazing job in the Jog-a-thon.

The rest of the day's activities consisted of glazing the clay pots, reading, and creating rockets.
The rockets were made out of paper and were launched by the rocket launcher that we built as a class with the supplies that C6 family members donated. THANK you to all those that helped out!

Many kids wanted to make their own launchers at home so here are some directions.
Materials: 4' of PVC pipe, 3" bolt (washer and nut), bicycle tire tube, 2 liter pop bottle, duct tape, 4 L-brackets and screws, 2 (3'-4') lengths of 1 x8 or 2 x 8 boards
Assembly:
1. Bracket the boards together in a perpendicular, upside down "T" shape
2. Drill a whole 3/4 of the way up the vertical board
3. Drill a whole in the 4' length of PVC pipe 2/3 of the way down one side of the pipe
4. Bolt together the vertical board and the PVC pipe
5. Duct tape the tire tube to the short end of the PVC pipe
6. Duct tape the bottle to the tire tube
7. Stomp on the label part of the bottle to launch a rocket off the long end of the PVC pipe

Have Fun!

Field Trip to Keizer Rapids next Week!

Sorry this is short notice, but we have a great opportunity for a free field trip. PLEASE print up and fill out the form attached on the right and send it with you child tomorrow. Anyone that does not fill it out, I will give a hard copy to tomorrow. Thank you!

Posting Homework Grades, RAH Minutes on the BLOG

Looking for your insight...

I want to add a link to the blog to inform parents and students about their homework progress. The link would be the spreadsheet I use to record homework grades. The spreadsheet would have everyone's first name and grades recorded so far for homework this year as well as new grades as they come. I also want to post the RAH minutes in the same way.

This means that anyone that accesses the blog could see your child's grade for homework and progress in RAH.

My policy for homework is that each child does it and turns it in on time. If that is accomplished, a student will earn a 4. If it's late, it will be a 3. If there are parts missing, they might get a 3. If they make many errors, they could earn a 3. The kids know if they have questions or don't understand something, they can always ask me about the homework in class. Some students are concerned about their homework grade being posted on the blog. I haven't heard of anyone being hesitant about the RAH being posted. I challenged them to think about how the posting of RAH and Homework is different. So far I don't have a solid answer.

I'm interested in both student and parent comments and concerns.
Would this be a valuable resource to you?
Do you not want your/your child's homework grade posted?

Please leave comments below in the comment section or email me.
If no one objects to this, I will post the grades and the RAH tomorrow.

Thank you!
Mr. J

Rockets, Math, Homework, Volunteering

Hello,

I wanted to thank those parents that brought items in for our C6 Rocket Launcher.

So far we have plenty of Duct Tape, brackets, bolts.

We still need:
* PVC pipe: 1 (3') length
* PVC pipe: 30 (1 foot) long sections to use a molds
(I forgot to mention this until now. We could do okay with just 15 molds)
* 2 (4' long boards of 1 x 10 would be best)

Thank you for your support!

Math: I hope to launch the 5th Grade math curriculum tomorrow.

Homework: I'd love to find a volunteer that I could send the homework home with to grade our homework each Tuesday....any volunteers???

Speaking of Volunteers: I could use some in class to help with math, reading groups, writing or science. I've linked my schedule to Google docs to the right. See if there's a time you could come in and help out. It doesn't have to be a regular time, but that would be nice! Also Diane Clingerman wanted to allow someone the privilege of being the classroom volunteer coordinator, but would take on that role again this year if no one takes on this role. Volunteering really does help me and the students out tremendously. Thank you again to all of you who helped out last year!!!

Assembly, Decimals, Movie Reviews, Estuary Animals

Hi Families,

Assembly: Today we had our 10th year anniversary assembly of Forest Ridge being a school. We celebrated our ten years and what we've accomplished. Also during the assembly, the RAH minutes totals for each class were posted in a graph made by Mr. E. C6 read almost twice the amount of minutes of any other class in the school with almost 30,000 minutes. Way to go with RAH C6, keep it up.

Decimals: In math we are learning about how to order and add decimals. You can develop your student's awareness of decimals by pointing decimal numbers you see in daily life. Examples could be: money, sports statistics in the newspaper, weather reports on rainfall, etc.

Movie Review: Students have picked a partner and are writing a movie review of one of their favorite movies. The reviews must include main characters and the plot as well as their personal opinion of the movie. Look for publications on the blog next week. We may even submit our reviews to an online Web 2.0 site.

Estuary Animals: In science we are studying the northwest estuaries. Each student has been paired up to study a specific estuary animal and report on its habitat, appearance, and food sources. They will prepare a Prezi (like the one I did for parent night) to showcase their research.

We still need materials for our rocket launcher. So far we have one 2 liter bottle. Thanks Ayden:)

Rocket Launcher Supplies, Writing, Science

In order to do our science lesson we need some supplies to build our ROCKET LAUNCHER. Please see the list to the left for materials needed. Please email me if you can bring in supplies or have questions.

Writing. We have been working on summarizing. Today we looked at movie reviews as one authentic use of summarizing. The kids have been assigned to write their own personal review of their favorite movie. They are working in groups of 2 or 3 to write their review. The goal is to publish these reviews on the blog. I'd like the students to research their movies for characters and events that they can add into their review. THANKS.

Science (2): For our regular science curriculum, we are beginning to learn about Estuaries. We're using estuaries to learn about how animals and their environment interact (a 5th grade standard). Each student will choose one estuary creature to research and report on in class.

Rockets, Clay Pots, Multiplication, Writing

Hello again,

This week has started off with some exciting projects. The class has earned enough points for behavior to earn an extra art and science lesson.

For art, the students created pinch pots out of clay.

For an extra science lesson. We plan to invent ways to improve paper rockets. To do this, I can try to borrow a rocket launcher from my summer class or we could build one as a class. I'd like to build one for our class. See the list to the left for materials we need to build our own rocket launcher.

The class just took an assessment on multiplication, one of the major 4th grade standards we are reviewing. The test focused on their ability to use strategies to solve multiplication problems. We are shifting this week to learn about working with decimals. So far we have covered: area and perimeter, multiplication strategies, and now decimals. After decimals we start with 5th grade curriculum.

In writing we have been working on creating descriptive accounts of our experiences. We have also tried to focus on using a variety of sentence lengths to make the reading of our writing easier.

Parent Night, Rewards, and Needs

Hi Families, First I want to thank those that came to parent night last night. Sorry about the heat! Hopefully next week will cool down a bit. If you didn't get to come last night. You can see a presentation on the link to the right "Parent Night Prezi" to learn more about C6 this year. Your kids have done well with behavior points and have chosen to do an extra art lesson and an extra science lesson for their rewards. They unanimously chose this over a floppy Friday/ extra recess. More details to come! Sincerely, Kyle

Mr. J's Family Visits, Buddy Rooms, Pendulums, Writing

Today was an awesome day! My family made a surprise visit to the classroom. Kari, my wife brought Ava and Luke in to visit. Luke was a little fussy, but Ava enjoyed conversing with your kids and reading a book with Mommy to them. The students thought it was funny that Luke only wanted to be with Mommy and didn't want anything to do with me:) Later we had our buddy rooms and the kids were all paired up with first graders. I think they all had a great time. For next week Mrs. Weathers and I hope to do a science observation with the buddies on sunflowers. We hope to find around 30 sunflowers before next Thursday. If you can help out with that in any way, please let me know! Pendulums. The pendulums we made out of washers was a huge success! Our key questions was: How can you make the pendulum swing faster? The most popular variable were adding more washers and shortening the height of the pendulum. You should have your child explain to you our findings! Writing: Because of the visit from my family and the buddy rooms, we have only two stories about 9/11 ready today. Here's a little background. Emily Sussell was a sixth grade student who attended school across the street from the Twin Towers when they were hit. The kids story picks up when Emily and her mom "...left the school--just as the south tower collapsed. They ran to escape the smoke and debris." Find the links to the left to hear to historical fiction stories filling in the details of this event.

Homework, Math, Writing, Science, Buddies, Points

Hello C6 Families, It's been a few days since I updated the blog so many new things are happening to let you know about. Homework: Today I'm sending a homework packet home with your student. The cover has a checkoff page to track completion. The packet is due Tuesday of next week. My philosophy on homework is that it should be independent work that students can complete on their own. I'm fine with parents helping and in fact encourage it. It just should be "doable" for them. There is a website that I want them to spend 30 minutes total time on (not 30 min. per night). The only thing that might be challenging is the reading comprehension page. I'm going to go over that more tomorrow in class so don't stress about that tonight. If you have any questions, feel free to email me. Math: The first two weeks are a review of 4th grade math. Last week we reviewed area and perimeter. This week we are working on multiplication strategies. It would be wonderful if you have your student "teach you" how to do the partial products strategy today. We will also be working hard on strategies and memorization of the basic math facts over the next few weeks. As you go about the rest of your day with your student you can look for ways to have them practice multiplication. For example If you travel 3 miles to school each day. How many miles do we travel in one week? One month? Writing: In a social studies magazine we read a really neat article about a 6th grade girl named Emily who was attending school during the attacks. She gave an account of her experience. We used this story as a springboard for our writing this week. Students wrote a response to the article using personal connections. Then they wrote descriptive stories as if they were Emily in the moment that she evacuated a school that was right next to one of the towers as it crashed down. Some of these stories will be posted tomorrow on the blog. So look for that. Science: In science we started an investigation on pendulums. Students are working in teams to answer the key question: How can I make my washer swing faster? They were given 18 inches of string, a washer, a meter stick and tape. Tomorrow they will continue work on changing variables, making predictions, observing, and drawing conclusions. Buddies: Tomorrow we are meeting with our buddy room: the first graders in B2 (Mrs. Whethers) class. Students get to keep the same buddies for the whole year and share a journal with them. Classroom Points: I have started a rewards program to help keep students managed. They can earn points for classwork, homework, respect, and being on task or attentive. They can earn points for classroom rewards as well as individual awards. If you want another way to gauge how they are doing in school, ask them how many points they earned today. A good score is about 20 points. They earn points in increments of 5. FYI: I've allowed for comments to the blog if you want to comment on anything or ask questions, offer ideas, clarify etc. Please keep in mind this is a school blog and

Friday: Vivid Vocab, IIR, Arrays, Raptors, 1,2,3 Noise level, Band

Friday was another hot one, but we were relieved to have 5 fans in the room today. Thanks for bringing those in. Good news, our kids exceeded their classroom goal by reading 1330 minutes last night. Keep up the good work. Today we started our first Vivid Vocab assignment and the project is to be taken home and finished at home. Kids have each chosen a word to: 1. Write in bubble letters on construction paper 2. Research and define the word in their own words 3. Use the word in a meaningful sentence 4. Create a visual representation for the word on the paper 5. Make it full of color 6. Present their word to the class on Wednesday (I added a "kid friendly research" link to the left to help with this assignment. Today we also defined IIR time as "Intentional (with a purpose) Independent (by yourself and for yourself) Reading". Students were given back graded ladybug dreamhouses for math and worked on the arrays of 24 and 48 and their various perimeters. We also spent a great deal of time training students on the volume level in class with a Level 1- silent, Level 2 (2 inch voice), Level 3 projected voice. We're learning how to keep work time to a level 2 voice. We were visited by Chad Davies (the band teacher) who did a demo for band and collected interest slips from the kids. You might be contacted by him next week. Finally we discussed our plan for Launching the Kettle chip sales next week. We need to have teams of kids create posters for the Raptor sales, visit classes and inform them of the sales, and perform sales at lunch on Thursday. If anyone wants to volunteer to help with any of those projects, please contact me. We will be working from 11:00 to 11:30 everyday next week on each of those projects. Thank you to the parents who brought in fans and also for bringing in washers. I'll take those off my wish list! Also Mr. E is loaning a lunch cart to C6 for now so I took the cart off the list. Stay cool this weekend! Sincerely, Kyle

Thursday 9/8 in C6

Hi Families, I have added a few new posts to the blog as well as a wish list to your left. Please check these out and if you have extra resources in any of the areas that you are willing to contribute to our class, that would be greatly appreciated! Our Day: Today we started with filling in our RAH chart and voting on a goal of daily minutes to be read by the class. Students are required to read 30 min/day which would total 840 min/day as a class. However last year with 25 students we were exceeding our goal of 1200 min/day as a class. The class discussed and voted on making our goal 1250 min/day for September. Today we read 1085 minutes as a class so we have some catching up to do. Last year as a class we read 14,976 min as a class in September and 40,486 min in May. Each month we increased our minutes. With this new goal we should be just a little under May's goal. So please encourage students to read each night and log their minutes and get your initials...Thank you. * Next we had PE *Then we discussed how to find a "Good Fit Book" and read for 20 min. of uninterrupted reading time * We had our Recess/Lunch * In math we used our knowledge of area to make "Ladybug dream house blueprints" * Then we decorated our writing journals * We discussed this blog * There was a fire drill * Finally we had Choir and non choir students finished some classwork Thank you for taking the time to read the blog and help out where you can. Enjoy the heat! Sincerely, Kyle

C6 is in Charge of Kettle Chip Sales Fundraise for the Raptors

Dear C6 Families, As part of our school-wide Roots & Shoots pledge to show care and concern for animals, the environment, and the human community - Our class is responsible for organizing the Lemonade & Kettle Chip Recess Sales to raise the money to continue the adoptions of our Sky-Hunter raptors. I hope that 2 parents (Julie has already volunteered for one spot) from this classroom will volunteer to COORDINATE the Tuesday/Thursday sales at 1st, 2nd and 3rd lunch recesses throughout October. This project involves: (Laurie Aguirre will purchase start-up lemonade and keep it in freezers - let her know when it is running low. She has 15 boxes of Kettle Chips. They will be kept in the staff phone room. She will get start-up change for change box.) - Prepare the cart for the sales i.e. - get change box from Kandie - prep lemonade in big container - get chips, cups and waste container (1st lunch recess is at 11:20, so we prepare the cart ahead of time 11:00 or before) Lunch Recesses - 1st 11:20 - 2nd 11:50 - - During sales help identified "sales students" operate the sale - pour, serve lemonade and chips - make change etc. Students purchasing should sit along walls to consume and then place ALL WASTE in waste container. - After sales - - clean containers and cart - have kids scan playground for trash - count money and record on Revenue Envelope (leave $20.00 change in cash box for following sale) - give to Kandie Revenue Envelope and cash box to put in safe

Welcome back to C6 Blog

Hi Parents and Students,

I assigned viewing the blog as homework for tonight. Students need to vote on the poll questions to the left based on our game this morning. Parents you are welcome to input your thoughts on the poll as well. We'll graph the results tomorrow.

Today we:
* Went to music
* Attended the flag raising
* learned about the nuts and bolts of C6
* Played a game: see the poll to the left
* Went to recess than lunch
* Learned how to head our paper for math and keep it neat and labeled
* Reviewed area and perimeter
* Set up our writer's notebook and wrote about a summer memory
* Learned about the science of combining
* Began reading "The Last Lobo" for read aloud

It was an awesome day!

Tonight kids need to:
* Read 30 minutes (at least)
* Check the blog
* remember to bring pics and stickers and decor for their writer's notebook.
* PARENTS IF YOU COULD SEND ME AN EMAIL TO UPDATE ME ON YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS THAT WOULD BE GREAT. PLEASE EMAIL ME EVEN IF YOU THINK I ALREADY HAVE IT (UNLESS YOU GAVE IT TO ME AT OPEN HOUSE).

Can't wait to see you tomorrow!!!
Sincerely,
Mr. J

Summer Reading Due Friday at 9:15

Welcome back C6!!!
If you completed your summer reading, please turn in your summer reading minutes to Mr. J by Friday at 9:15 for a pizza party at lunch time Friday.

Note from last year:
Students have been challenged to continue their reading through the summer. We have made spreadsheets on excel to document our summer reading. Everyone started one, but we didn't have time to finish it. I sent home a hard copy with everyone who wanted to participate. However I have also made an online copy through googledocs that you can download. THE ADVANTAGE TO THE ONLINE VERSION IS THAT THE FORMULAS ARE IN PLACE TO TRACK YOUR AS YOU GO. Turn in a printed copy of your summer minutes or record on the hard copy. All those that turn in the minutes get a pizza party!!!!! Good luck and have a great summer!
