It's been a while since a last posted. Class is still in session and many wonderful projects are afoot.
Christopher Columbus Journals
In writing we have just finished up our movie reviews to work on summary. Now we are working again on writing with detail. We are doing this while imagining what it would be like to sail with Christopher Columbus. Students are writing 10 entries into a historical fiction journal of a 10 year old accompanying Columbus on the journal to the West Indies...
Estuary Prezi
We have been researching information about a specific estuary creature and putting them into prezi. When they are finished the prezis will be published on the blog.
Math
In math we are still building on our multiplication knowledge to prepare us for division. Division will start next week.
RAH
The class has been losing momentum a bit with RAH. We have been just barely meeting or coming under our goal daily. I just wanted to let you know. For next month we might adjust our goal or talk about what we can do to improve our minutes.
