EXTRA! EXTRA! Read all about it! Formula error stifled Oct RAH Minutes

So I noticed a glitch in my RAH spreadsheet today that also affected our October RAH. When I switched my RAH chart from excel to google docs my formula cell that added up the children's minutes each day was only set to add up 24 out of 28 students. SO our new and actual October minutes is 40,938 minutes. I had to apologize for making them feel guilty about not reaching their goal last month, they crushed it!!!

Field Trip Thursday: Volunteers

Around half of the parents volunteered for the Aquarium Field Trip. All may come. There will be an hour lab that only 6 parents may attend for room capacity purposes. More info will come tomorrow including groups etc.

Wow Way to RAH!!!

I'm totally impressed with how we've met our goal each day and even over the long weekend. It makes me wonder what factors have boosted our reading this month. I'd like to credit the book fair for bringing in some great reads that the kids are excited about. I also suspect that our partner reading that we started last week has added some intrinsic (self powered) motivation to read more. The fact is that our class is full of voracious (super hungry) readers! Way to RAH!!!
